Congratulations to the members of the Huntingtower Senior Girls Division 1 Hockey and the Senior Central Girls Table Tennis teams.These teams won their EISM premierships in their Grand Final matches. The Hockey girls have now won four premierships in a row and the Table Tennis girls have won the past three premierships.A fantastic record girls, well done!

The Years 8 & 9 Southern Boys Soccer and the Year 8 & 9 Central Girls Table Tennis teams, also contested their respective Grand Finals and they finals and both came home with the Runners Up pennants after tight competition.An excellent effort by all players in representing the school in these competitions.Thank you to the coaches for all your work and training with the students: Mr Simon Hood, Mr Tony Hill, Ms Ser-Lein Wan and Mr Keith Clapp.

The House Cross Country Carnival featured wet and windy conditions down at Jells Park, Wheelers Hill.The students were superb in their efforts to support their House and complete their events.Thank you to Mr Peter Rees and the entire School teaching and office staff for their work and support in preparation for and in the running of the Carnival.The results are as follows:

The School Team has been selected from this event.The HT Cross Country Team will compete on Wednesday 7th September at the EISM Cross Country Carnival which is to be held at Ruffey Lake Park, Templestowe.


Congratulations to Alasdair Hackett (Year 10) who was selected as a member of Team Vic for the U16 Boys hockey team.The team played in the School Sports Australia national competition here in Melbourne in early August.Alasdair's team came away with the gold medal!Well done, Alasdair!

Years 8 & 9 will soon be trialling for a place in the EISM Spring Sport competitions.There will be trainings for all sports on the following dates in Term 4.We have coaches coming in to the school especially for the students, so it is vital that students attend these training sessions.Training will be conducted on:

Wednesdays (4.00pm–5.00pm): 5, 12, 19, & 26 October; 2, 9, 16 & 23 (if in Finals) November

Grand Finals: Thursday 24 November
